Glass Cast 10 Epoxy Resin Kit - Clear

GlassCast 10 is a crystal-clear, two-part epoxy resin designed to create thinner-section castings for projects such as coasters, jewellery, shallow castings, and layered flower encapsulations. The recommended pour thickness for GlassCast 10 is 10mm.

Because GlassCast 10 has been developed as a casting resin and not a coating resin, it remains water-clear even in thick sections. However, it doesn't self-level to the perfectly flat, glossy finish of our GlassCast 3 coating resin and would require a flat and polished surface if a perfect finish is required on the open face.

GlassCast 10 is sold as a kit, which includes both the resin and the hardener.

The resin will reach initial cure in around 24hrs.

Crystallisation - Fixing Cloudy or Even Solidified Resin

If you find that your GlassCast 10 or GlassCast 50 epoxy resin has been delivered cloudy or has turned cloudy during storage then it is most likely that the resin has crystallised. Fortunately, this process can easily be reversed and the resin returned to its original, perfectly clear condition. This short video tutorial explains crystallisation and how to reverse it.
