Directions for Use

How to Use Howard SunShield Wood Conditioner

  1. Prepare the surface – Ensure the wood is clean, dry, and free from dust or dirt.
  2. Apply SunShield – Using a soft cloth, spread a generous, even coat over the surface.
  3. Let it absorb – Allow the conditioner to penetrate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. For unfinished wood – Apply additional coats and allow a longer drying time (up to overnight) for deeper conditioning.
  5. Remove excess – Wipe away any remaining product with a clean, soft cloth.
  6. Maintain regularly – For ongoing protection against drying and fading, apply SunShield regularly.

Note: SunShield helps protect against humidity and sun damage but is not waterproof and will not protect flat surfaces from standing water.

Safety & Precautions

  • Always test in a small, hidden area first.
  • Do not mix with other chemicals.
  • Wear impervious gloves and safety glasses during use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Contains hydrogenated mineral oil.

First Aid:

  • If swallowed, contact a doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
  • If in the eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes.
  • If on skin – Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
  • Storage: Store in a cool place with the cap tightly closed.
