  1. Arrange: Layout leaves, branches, tools, clothes, or custom oversized transparency negatives onto the fabric in a dimly lit room.
  2. Expose: Carry your arrangement into direct sunlight for 3 to 15 minutes (depending on UV brightness) until the unprotected canvas turns a pale bronze color.
  3. Rinse: Submerge the sheet in a tray of cool water for 5 to 10 minutes to halt development and wash out unexposed salts, then hang to dry.
